                                                SCHOOL ACCOMPLISHMENTS

                                                      School Year 2015-2016

 

     The School Year begins with the successful conduct of Brigada Eskwela where 90% of parents, students, teachers and community participated in National Maintenance Week. The parents repaired scores of chairs, windows, dividers, doors, grills, floors paint roofs, gardens and many other things. With this we constructed a new Pergola and gate of our campus. Parents participation were huge that hundreds of constructions materials were donated and used outright.

 

      Year 2015-2016 is also a year of fruitful and productive academic session for Gainza National High School. We were rewarded with the Full Performance Based Bunos (PBB) of P35,000.00 as one of only few who received such amount. This is in connection with good performance that we had last year such as Updated Liquidated Financial Reports, very few or less drop out, increased participation rate and continued increased in National Achievement Test (NAT).

 

     By July, we hired regular Mapeh and Physics Teachers. we tied up with Ateneo de Naga Univerisity for ICT Trainings for Teachers and students, Book Donations and donations of armchairs. We also organized the parents 4Ps recipients in order to give them the Gulayan Project in our school. The PTA also donated items that are needed by the school like: ladder, fire extinguisher, medical supplies, monoblock chairs, 2 computers, etc. We also purchased new aircon, DSLR camera and Industrial oven for our Bread and Pastry offerings. These comes from Gov Migz Villafuerte who donated sixty thousand plus as financial assistance to our school.

 

     By September, three teachers were promoted from Teacher I to teacher III and hired another 3 new teachers vacated by them. In terms of curriculum innovations, Gainza National High School introduced eLearning like Quipperschool as added instructional interventional for students, Several IGP’s were also implemented like collections of bottles dub as “ May Pera sa Basura” where several LCD Projectors were purchased out of this, Peer Tutorial Schemes were also enhanced, implementation of Adopt-a-child Program, Adopt-a-River Project, Team Teaching Called “Groupie and the Bests”, And HAPZ for the Mapeh Department. We also continue the Project named “Gulayan sa Bawat Tahanan “.

 

      As of now, Gainza National High School is on process of acquiring new School Site for our Senior High School Curriculum , the two storey 6 classroom building is now just waiting for the go signal from the Local Government to start the construction. 50 units of Computers with free wifi were also to be delivered this Summer.
